SJC receives $4.6 million air quality improvement grant
Here is the link.

The article talks about how the San Jose International Airport won a federal grant worth $4.6 million to get equipment that will fight the need for airplanes to run air conditioning while parked at the terminal gate. In the long run, this will also fight greenhouse gasses and fossil-fuel burning.

This topic interests me because I've read Darren's blog about greenhouse gasses and global warming. I didn't really know San Jose was a very big factor adding to global warming but I guess every city has it's own contributions to global warming.

The article doesn't really address global warming though. It mostly addresses bad air quality. The grant will make more things efficient like the air quality and heating and cooling costs.

Although it does seem like an interesting topic, I don't think I could write 20 pages on the topic. I could probably write a short paper on it, but only if I tried really hard. I don't think I found a very good subject for my paper...I'm having a really hard time finding an interesting topic that I could write 20 pages on. I guess I'll just have to try harder.
