“Aboard the Ideological Hot Air Balloon” is an essay about the doubt of students towards academic blogs. The professor first implements academic blogging into the first year composition class and the students do it simply to get the grade for the course. Livengood states that the students struggle to make the writing their own meaning they don’t really express themselves.
This is my favorite essay because it relates to my own doubts towards academic blogs. I’m not sure if this will help my writing or it will simply just be an assignment to me. Only time will tell.
